Network & Wi-Fi Intern

Would you like to step directly into the engine room and learn how to design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Wi-Fi and network solutions for real customers?

We are looking for an ambitious intern who is curious about working with cutting-edge network technology. At Haze Networks, you will not be “just the intern” responsible for making coffee, but a valued member of a small, highly specialized team.

You will gain in-depth, hands-on experience with customer cases within one or more of the following areas:

  • Wi-Fi Design & Optimization: Participate in the entire process — from planning and measurements (site surveys) to creating reports. You will learn to work with industry-standard tools such as Ekahau and Hamina Wireless.
  • Troubleshooting: Learn how to diagnose and solve complex Wi-Fi performance and client experience issues.
  • Network Infrastructure: Gain a solid interface-level understanding of switching and routing (VLANs, DHCP/DNS, basic firewalling). We primarily work with HPE Juniper and HPE Aruba.
  • Documentation: Learn how to create sharp and precise documentation and network diagrams.
  • Automation: Help build the future of operations through scripts, templates, and APIs.

As part of our team, you should also be prepared for:

  • A short path from idea to action — we welcome your contributions from day one.
  • A flat hierarchy — you will work and grow side-by-side with our experienced specialists, and our CEO will be your closest manager.
  • We value authenticity — you are encouraged to be yourself, even without a filter. Unique personalities are already a natural part of our team.

We imagine that you:

  • Are studying at TEC as a Data Technician with an infrastructure specialization, EUD Data & Communication (Infrastructure), EUX Data & Communication (Infrastructure), or IT Technology with a networking specialization.
  • Are eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, and able to critically evaluate your own work.
  • Are up for the occasional Friday beer — we also value the social side of work.

Practical Information

  • Start date: As soon as possible (we are flexible).
  • Duration: According to the framework of your education program.
  • Location: You will primarily work from our cozy office in Christianshavn. Occasionally, you will also work onsite at customer locations.

If the chemistry and collaboration are a good match, there is a strong possibility that you can continue in a permanent student job after the internship.

The Application Process

  1. Send us your CV. At the top, feel free to include a few words about why you are applying specifically for the Junior Network Engineer role with us.
  2. Interview with Steffen (your direct manager and CEO) and Andreas (former student assistant, now full-time employee) at our office.
